"In a quote made famous by Picasso, Bakunin said that "The urge to destroy is also a creative urge" so here's 23 minutes of Dominic Cummings being creatively destroyed, which is surely a cause we can all get behind.
It’s been fascinating over the past day to see that Cummings can cause an outcry by flouting lockdown rules, but his active role in the unnecessary deaths of tens of thousands of people hasn't elicited anywhere near the same clamour. I suppose the latter wasn't hypocritical. Overcome with caffeine and frustrations over the liberal delusion that governments should play fair, I channelled my angst into this piece.
I find any kind of speech incredibly distracting while I’m reading theory, but I wanted to loop the same phrase so often it becomes mere sound, similar to my attempts in Slow Notes For Marx 2 where I repeated a potentially off-putting melodic phrase, thereby negating its ability to draw my attention away.
Proceeds to Unity Centre, Glasgow."
